(NECN: John Moroney) - Never say never.

Avalanna Routh, a six-year-old girl with a rare brain cancer called AT/RT, declared her love for Justin Bieber in August during the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon.

Routh, also known as Mrs. Bieber, was able to spend the day with the pop star after his manager caught wind of her Facebook page.

The pair ate cupcakes, played board games, and even shared a few kisses on Monday in New York City.

After the meeting, Bieber sent out several tweets.

"that was one of the best things i have ever done. she was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now! #MrsBieber."

Routh, who was diagnosed at nine months old, appeared on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan show to talk about her big Valentine's date.

"He said, I want to too. He want to be my husband," Routh said.

Routh has spent much of her life dealing with her illness through chemotherapy treatments and surgery. Her parents are hoping all of the attention will help find a cure for this aggressive disease.

"This is a beautiful story'" said Alieen Routh, the young girl's mother. "Beautiful, beautiful story. And we need to keep the momentum going. We need to fund finding a cure for AT/RT."
