An investigation is underway after a two-alarm fire at a two-family home in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
Crews have put out the flames at the building at 7 North Avenue.
Officials say the fire appears to have traveled up the outside of the building and then into the attic.
The fire chief estimates the damage to the home at $300,000. He estimates $100,000 in damage from exposure to the home at 9 North Avenue.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
