| September 3, 2008 McCain greeted by Palin family and Levi Johnston

(NECN: St. Paul, Minn.) - Republican presidential candidate John McCain landed in Minnesota this afternoon for the Republican National Convention.
McCain stepped off his campaign plane shortly before 1:00 p.m. EDT at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.
McCain was greeted by his wife, Cindy, and their seven children. His running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, was among those greeting him.
McCain is scheduled to deliver an acceptance speech to delegates Thursday night.
McCain shared a hug with Sarah Palin and exchanged greetings
with Palin's 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, and her boyfriend,
18-year-old Levi Johnston. Bristol Palin is five months pregnant
and plans to marry her boyfriend, the family says.
Palin will speak tonight at the convention.
