    Two people are in the hospital after a hit-and-run crash in Chelsea, Massachusetts early Wednesday morning.

    Three people are in the hospital after a crash in Chelsea, Massachusetts early Wednesday morning.

    The crash occurred on Everett Avenue near the MBTA commuter rail tracks around 2:15 a.m.

    Police arrested Hector Jimenez, 19 of Malden, Massachusetts, after he fled the scene on foot. He has been charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident after causing injury.

    His passenger, who has not been identified, remains in  critical condition at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

    The driver of the other vehicle, Jeffrey Hittney of New York City, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
