A man with a gun robbed Kim’s Gift Shop, in the Copaco Shopping Center on Cottage Grove Road in Bloomfield, around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday and stole around $400 from the cash register and two trays of diamond and gold rings from the jewelry display case, according to police.
The man was tall and thin and he was wearing dark pants, black sneakers, a red hooded sweatshirt and purple latex gloves.
He was carrying a brown paper shopping bag and likely changed his clothing while heading south the Hartford, police said.
