    MBTA Red Line service has resumed in both directions between Kendall and Park Stations Friday morning after crews restored power after a cable fire.

    The fire happened at the Longfellow bridge around 1:30 a.m.

    The MBTA says there will be residual delays.

    Service information will be updated on the MBTA website and on their Twitter account.

    There were no injuries in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
