Police say they've arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with an apartment fire in Biddeford, Maine, that killed two people.
Police say Dylan Lee Collins of Biddeford was charged early Friday with two counts of murder and one count of arson. He was scheduled to appear in York County Superior Court at 1 p.m. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
He's accused of setting fire to a multi-family apartment house on Sept. 18. Killed were 21-year-old James Ford and 23-year-old Michael Moore, who were roommates. They died of smoke inhalation.
Police said Collins was taken into custody Wednesday at his workplace, Monkey Trunks in Saco. Police said he was hospitalized for observation Wednesday night and Thursday at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, where police interviewed him.
