Man Stabbed With Broken Beer Bottle

A 23-year-old man was stabbed in Worcester, Massachusetts, Saturday, according to police.

Worcester Police responded to a report around 4:30 p.m. that a man was stabbed near Lincoln and Highland Streets.

The victim was found with wounds to his neck and arms. He was taken by ambulance for treatment.

Preliminary reports indicate the victim was in a dispute with another man, identified as 30-year-old Mark Lindstrom.

It's reported that Lindstrom stabbed the victim with a broken beer bottle before fleeing the scene.

With the aid of witnesses, Worcester Police were able to track down Lindstrom as he ran between houses on Moen Street. Lindstrom was found with fresh blood on his shirt, according to police.

Multiple witnesses identified Lindstrom as the man who committed the crime.

Lindstrom was arrested and charged with Armed Assault with Intent to Murder and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
