Man Wounded in Overnight Shooting



    A man was shot in the leg early Saturday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to police.

    Around 5:30 a.m. officials responded to a 911 call reporting that a man was seen suffering from a gunshot near the Faucher Block Apartments on Pearl Street. They found the man on the steps 138 Pearl St. with a wound to his upper right thigh.

    The victim had wrapped his leg with a towel and belt. He was taken to Elliot Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

    The shooting remains under investigation.
