Six great white shark sightings were reported off Cape Cod on Friday.

Around 11 a.m., the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy said it spotted three great white sharks in the area between Nauset Public Beach and Callanan's Pass off Orleans.

Three other great whites were also spotted Friday off Eastham and Truro.

Earlier in the week - on Wednesday afternoon - a great white had been spotted feeding on a seal about 20 feet off Race Point Beach in Provincetown.

Experts say great whites have been moving further north in recent weeks, which has forced the closure of several beaches to swimming.
