Police are on the scene after a 43-year-old woman was hit by a dump truck in Boston Friday morning.
This accident occurred at Albany St. and Massachusetts Ave.
Some women, who claim to be friends of the victim, tell necn the woman was conscious, but in shock. They tell necn the victim stays at a homeless shelter in the area and was crossing Mass. Ave. to get to Cumberland Farms.
She has been transported to Boston Medical Center.
Boston EMS tells necn the woman has major leg injuries.
The truck driver remained on the scene.
