Police are investigating after two separate People's United Bank branches were robbed in Windham County in Vermont on the same day.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports the first robbery occurred Monday around 9:20 a.m. at the Wilmington branch on East Main Street.

Police say the teller was handed a note demanding money by a white man with a mustache in his late 20s. No weapon was used in the robbery, but the suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police received a call regarding a robbery at the bank's Brattleboro branch on Main Street around 4:30 p.m.
