Police: Woman Assaulted 103-Year-Old Neighbor Over Money

A Massachusetts woman was arrested after authorities allege she threw her 103-year-old neighbor to the floor when he refused to give her money.

The MetroWest Daily News reports Leslie Belliveau of Framingham was charged Monday night with assault and battery on an elderly person and intimidation of a witness.

The man told police that 53-year-old Belliveau appeared to be intoxicated when she came into his apartment on Friday night and demanded that he give her money. Prosecutors say Belliveau threw him to the floor after he refused.

Belliveau's lawyer says there was no assault. She was ordered held on $500 bail and is due back in court on Dec. 21.
