A cab driver in Worcester, Massachusetts, was shot in an attempted armed robbery Monday night.
Police say the shooting happened on Stockton Street around 10:10 p.m. when the 62-year-old driver responded to a fare.
Police said the driver was approached by a man who had his face covered and had a handgun. A struggle ensued and the driver was shot. The suspect fled the area.
The driver was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
