Final New Hampshire Senate Debate Tonight

With less than a week to go before Election Day, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and her Republican opponent, Scott Brown, will square off in a final debate to make their case to voters.

The debate is at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Shaheen, a first-term Democrat, has painted Brown as a pawn of big business and a carpetbagger who moved to New Hampshire just to run for Senate.

Brown rose to national prominence in 2010 when he won a special election in Massachusetts to fill the Senate seat of the late Ted Kennedy. Brown lost the seat in 2012 and moved to New Hampshire in December before announcing his Senate bid in April.

Brown has spent the campaign linking Shaheen to unpopular President Barack Obama, saying she's a rubberstamp for his policies.
