Pennsylvania state police say they're looking for a man pretending he's Pittsburgh's district attorney to steal beer, pizza and other goods.
Police say the man went to at least three stores Wednesday claiming he's Stephen Zappala or a member of his staff.
They say his story at one business involved telling embarrassed employees they hadn't given him all the products he purchased.
Police say the fake Zappala drives a car that looks like an unmarked police vehicle and got away with $40 worth of pizza and a case of suds.
A spokesman says the real Zappala knows about the imposter but won't comment.
It's the second scam to hit Pittsburgh-area law enforcement this week.
Pittsburgh police say someone's using one of their telephone numbers to threaten people with arrest if they don't pay up.
