    NEWSLETTERS

Saturday: Mix of sun and clouds, rain or snow shower north. Highs in the 40s and 50s. Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the 30s and 40s. Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds, isolated sprinkle. Highs in the 40s to near 50. (Published Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016)

Typical Autumn air will dominate our weather around New England this weekend, with highs mostly in the 40s and 50s.

Saturday will be the warmer of the two weekend days, with some areas in Southern New England reaching the mid-50s. Highs will sit in the upper 40s across Northern New England.

A few isolated sprinkles or snow showers will also drift through Northern New England at times.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night as Daylight Saving Time ends. That means the sun will rise between 6 and 6:30 AM on Sunday, but sunset will occur closer to 4:30 PM.

It turns quite a bit breezier by Sunday, and that wind will pump in cooler air for all of us. That means highs in the low 40s across much of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 in Southern New England. There will generally be a blend of sun and clouds, along with an isolated sprinkle here and there.

Temperatures remain in the same range on Monday with sunshine, but then we warm up into the low 60s by Tuesday for Election Day.
