NBC10 Boston's Natasha Verma was the keynote speaker at a cancer survivors workshop Saturday night in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Verma, who was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma last year, shared her story at Max's Tavern at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of a seminar called "Cancer Survivorship 101: What Happens Next."
The event, which was attended by hundreds of cancer survivors, was sponsored by the non-profit group Survivor Journey. The group provides support for those fighting cancer.
