Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, arrested two individuals on prostitution charges Wednesday night.
Around 5:30 p.m., officers in the area of Manchester and Maple Streets were responding to citizen complaints of prostitution activity. According to police, a female suspect approached different vehicles as they passed her and she was eventually picked up by a male suspect.
The suspects drove into the East Side Plaza on Hanover Street. Police say that they witnessed the female subject performing a sexual act on the male subject. Investigation revealed the male had paid the female $40 to perform the sexual act.
Thomas Brown, 55, of Goffstown, was arrested and charged with prostitution. He was later released on $500 bail. In addition, 26-year-old Macy Laplante of Manchester was arrested and charged with prostitution. Her bail was set at $500 and she was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning.
