Two North Carolina men have been taken into custody in Massachusetts for the possession of PCP.
Early Tuesday morning, police stopped a Ford Crown Victoria on Route 128 southbound in Lexington for several motor vehicle violations.
The driver and passenger were identified as Nakia A. Roland, 40, and Benjamin Patrick, 31, both of Wilimington.
Roland was found to have a suspended North Carolina driver's license and was also determined to be operating under the influence of an intoxicating drug.
Both men were found to be in possession of approximately 61.5 liquid ounces of what is believed to be Phencyclidine, a hallucinogen commonly known as PCP.
Both men were placed under arrest and brought to the Concord Police Barracks for booking.
Bail was set at $10,000 each. The two men were later transported to Concord District Court for arraignment.
