Officials say they suspect arson as the cause of a fire that heavily-damaged a building in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Tuesday morning.
Crews responded shortly after midnight to 45 Nelson St. for what was believed to be an attempted arson, according to police. Crews evacuated everyone from the three-floor building.
According to necn affilate WJAR, crews responded to the same home hours later when it caught fire. Since no one was inside, there were no injuries.
Firefighters were able to knock down the fire after a half-hour.
The bottom floor is the only part of the house which was able to be saved.
