A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday after they were struck by a truck in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, according to police.
The incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Washington Street and Columbia Road, a Boston Police Department spokesperson said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where their current condition is unknown.
Details on what led up to the crash were not immediately clear.
