Suspect Arrested After Shots Fired in Boston

Boston Police arrested a man after shots were fired in Roxbury on Saturday.

Around 12:51 p.m., police arrested Mauricio "Macho" Livingston on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain. Livingston has allegedly fired a gun inside 238 Hampden Street in Roxbury earlier in the day and fled prior to police arrival. No one was hurt in the incident.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Officers later recovered a loaded firearm from inside the residence.

Livingston will answer to the charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and a firearm discharged within 500 feet of a dwelling in Roxbury District Court.
