Police arrested a man after a shooting in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Friday.
Barnstable Police say they responded to a 911 call on Winter Street at around 6:20 p.m.
Authorities say a woman had called that a man had stumbled into her home suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to police, the 41-year-old man was shot by a 26-year-old Hyannis resident directly known to him.

The victim was transported to a Boston medical facility, where he is in stable condition, police say.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested the 26-year-old without further incident, according to authorities.
The 26-year-old has been charged with assault by dangerous weapon - firearm, assault to murder, assault and battery, and several other firearms related charges.

He is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
He is expected to be arraigned on March 18 at Barnstable District Court.
