University of Vermont Police say three students are facing charges for stealing a chicken from a Burlington home, killing it and eating it at a university dormitory.
Police say 18-year-olds Cameron Dube, Darien Newman and Hannah Jackman have been ordered to appear in court on charges of unlawful trespass and possession of stolen property. Dube also faces a cruelty to animals charge.
It was not immediately known if the students are being represented by lawyers.
