Three people are hurt after a plane crash at Danbury Municipal Airport, according to the mayor.
Three men were taken to the hospital. One victim suffered life-threatening injuries, one suffered serious injuries, and one suffered minor injuries. The victims have not been identified.
A spokesperson for the FAA said that a Cessna 172S crashed after taking off around 10:25 a.m. The FAA and NTSB have been called in to investigate.

The plane crashed in the area of Miry Brook Road and Backus Avenue. The nearby Danbury Dog Park is closed due to the investigation.
