(NECN) - Former N.H. Governor John Sununu officially nominated GOP candidate Mitt Romney for president on the floor the RNC in Tampa, Fla. Tuesday.

In his speech, Sununu argues Romney is the best candidate to lead the United States, and argues that President Barack Obama has damaged the country.

"Tonight we're all gathered here to put into motion the final phase of our campaign to help America know them better, and to appreciate why our nation needs them as our president and our first lady," says Sununu about Mitt and Ann Romney.
