(NECN) - Stocks mostly bounced back from Wednesday's volatile session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 81 points to close at 11,229. The Nasdaq composite rose nearly 23 to close 2257. The S&P 500 climbed eight to finish at 1253.
Regionally Bloomberg's New England Index jumped more than one and a quarter. The New England Tech Stock Index went up more than half a point.
