Massachusetts Man Sues Target Over Parmesan Cheese Claims

A Massachusetts man has sued Target Corp., alleging the retailer sold "100% Parmesan cheese" that contained additives, according to the Boston Business Journal.

The paper reports Ronald Saitta filed the suit in federal court in Boston, saying he bought the cheese at the Target location at One Mystic View Road in Everett.

According to the BBJ, Target spokeswoman says Castle Cheese Inc., the maker of the Market Pantry brand of cheese, "has not been an authorized vendor of Target and there are no Castle Cheese-produced Market Pantry products on Target's shelves. We typically don't comment on pending legal issues."
