A crash left a pedestrian dead and closed part of Route 1 in Wrentham, Massachusetts, on Tuesday evening, according to police.
Police Chief Bill McGrath confirmed the fatal crash on Route 1 between Madison and Thurston Streets.
Police say an SUV with a plow attached hit a man in the road.
One other vehicle may have been involved. The drivers of both remained at the scene.

The road was closed for some time after the crash, but has since reopened, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, but snow, slush and rain caused slick conditions in Wrentham and elsewhere across Massachusetts.
"It's a dark section of road, as you can see, and obviously, the weather is not good, so visibility was not great," McGrath said.

The Sterling Fire Department responded to two crashes less than 15 minutes apart, putting out a warning for drivers to slow down.
In Uxbridge, authorities said a multi-vehicle crash on Route 146 was caused by black ice.
Boston Public Works said it had about 400 pieces of equipment treating the city's roads Tuesday night. Many of those resources will also be used for Wednesday's morning commute.
