2 Charged With Using False Identities to Obtain Licenses

Police still trying to figure out Jose Miguel Alvarado's true identity

New Hampshire State Police have arrested two people who are accused of using false documents at the Nashua DMV to obtain driver licenses.

Officials were alerted a man claiming to be Jose Miguel Alvarado, 25, of Peabody, Massachusetts, accused of using a false identity and documents to get a license. Investigators are still trying to determine his true identity.

Alvarado’s accomplice, Leisa Yarelis Tejeda Pimentel, age 24, of Peabody, Massachusetts, was arrested for multiple counts of tampering with public records, unsworn falsification, and conspiracy to commit unsworn falsification.

Investigation revealed Pimentel also allegedly used a false identity and documents in order to obtain a driver’s license after illegally entering the country from the Dominican Republic.

Alvarado was held without bail and Pimentel was held on $5,000 bail pending arraignment Wednesday.
