Vice President Joe Biden will receive the Warren B. Rudman Award for Distinguished Public Service when he visits the University of New Hampshire on February 25.
Warren B. Rudman was recognized and admired for his integrity and willingness to work with politicians across the aisle for the benefit of all. Biden served with Rudman in the U.S. Senate from 1980 to 1993.
"Vice President Biden is a true leader in teh area of public service and it will be an honor to present him with this award," said John Broderick, executive director of the Rudman Center.
Former Senator Olympia Snowe received the first award in 2013.
