For most of New England, the Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 8 PM - click here to see the product. Conditions are favorable for damaging wind, large hail, frequent lightning, brief torrential downpours and perhaps an isolated tornado. Be prepared to seek shelter quickly should a storm approach - these storms are going to be very quick-moving.
