Two flight crews reported being illuminated by lasers over Boston Wednesday night, according to the FAA.
Passengers were worried about their safety, as lasers can temporarily blind a flight crew.
Investigators with the FAA are working to figure out who's responsible. They are trying to coordinate maps, track each incident and look for similar patterns.
It's been a disruptive week for pilots in the skies over the Northeast. There were five planes in the New York and New Jersey area reporting lasers pointed at the cockpit Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning.
This is a serious case. Not only is it dangerous for the flight crew and the passengers on board, but it's a federal crime to point a laser at an airplane.
